GP3-2000 installation ???

Explain me this.......
Have GP3-2000 installed in WinXP Home Edition, runs fine with a PO of 35% to 50%. Now i was planning on installing it in Windows 98 too, install went fine (i use a multiboot config) but when i started gp3-2000 the normal process of calibration of the graphics began no prob either, untill..... i ran the game.
The PO was 500% to 900% ?????? How can that be then, i noticed that the calibration had set it on softwaremode instead of my Geforce 3 ti200 64mb, changed that, didn't make a difference. I also copied the GP3-2000 folder from WinXP to my Win98 partition, didn't help either same PO score, and i used all the settings i had im my GP3-2000 WinXP installation (cards, f1state, etc, etc)
I tried 3 installations in Win98 of GP3-2000 all the same result. Please can somebody help me?

System:

Pentium 4 1800mhz
Geforce3 TI200 64mb
512mb SDRam 133
SBlive! player

Download specific Win98 drivers for your GF3, if you haven't already. That's all I can think of for now!
