cc cars very slow at start

Hi guys.
I noticed that in a few tracks (Fontana, Long Beach) tha CC cars are very slow at the start of the race, and i can overtake them easly (if i start 12th i can get the 1st position before the first corner...): in Long Beach, therefore, the cc cars are very slow in the main straight and i overtake them very easily. The strange is that the top speed (about 180 mph) is the same for me and for CC car.
CC cars seem to have a lack of acceleration in the first 2 or 3 gears: i tried to solve the problem setting higher value of cc power factor in the MD file, but then the cc cars reach very high top speed: so i tried to gives more rear wings or to make the 6th gear longer, but the result is not so good (while in Fontana it solved: i set the cc power to 13750 and the wings to 10/10 so cc cars have good acceleration and right top speed).
Anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance. Claudio.

Change the CC gear ratios.
Shorten the lower gears to what you are using, or even shorter.

sounds like bhp is too low, default bhp gp3 800, gp32k 810,
if you're bhp is lower the player has the advantage.

Thanks guys.
Anyway, i use the original gp3 physic file (800 bhp).
I was wandering if it could be a problem related to how the cc approace the 1st corner, and i'm trying to solve with the track command car coaching rigth/left.
But i notice that it reduces if i do this: at the start, wait in neutral gear, and only when all the lights are off insert 1st gear and go.
Claudio.

nope it won't be that, those commands are pretty subtle and aren't even
included in gp4.

that's the fairest way to I handle starts so you have to react to the lights,
I keep reving too so you get a bit of wheelspin rather than just taking off.

I had a similar problem to you when updating the 2006 tracks with 760bhp,
eventually I discovered there were multiple values for default bhp in the exe,
once patched the problem was solved, doesn't help you though as I haven't
a clue where these are in the gp3.exe:(

ehi Belini, if you are watching inside the gp3.exe, have you noticed a way to change the number of flying laps that drivers can do in qualy session before to come back to pits?

Ignore that - gave some advice, then realised later on that it didn't actually work the way I though it did. Sorry.
