Taupo, New Zealand available for testing (VERSION 2.0)

Yo, just uploaded this track used in the A1Gp.
Layout and heights taken from Google Earth so should be acceptable, but the rest smells of beta-ish as I based all on a frame taken from A1Gp race.
I hope you like it. Enjoy

I had some test races with our GP3 World Series Carset and I must say, this track make fun! Reminds me a bit of Hungaroring...

thanks DJ, it's a funny track but even bicycles find hard to overtake

yeah, I have yesterday see it. Many times,after the start, I crashed into the front cars

well you didn't nothing extraordinary, if you saw the accident caused by... Alex Yoong(?) in the A1Gp race.
it's a cool hotlaps track but for races the only chance to have fun is to tweak some md settings and push extreme the pit strategy. In this case it should be a real fun




btw i uploaded a 2nd version few minutes after the announce, so please be sure you have the 1.3mb rar and not the 999kb rar. i added an horizon to cover the blu sky under the road level :P

can you remake taupo to the proper version used in A1gp?

Roberto, the same problem with me - can't load your homepage...

LOL I think they canceled my account. Probably because it passed in few days the 1gb of monthly downloads. Possible? It was 300 mb in +/- 4 days :S :S
Anyway it a was temporary host. I'm trying to fix some issues with my old hosts. I'll be back soon.

I think, he means the current A1GP Track variant. When I'm right, A1GP doesn't use that one chicane...
