Cockpit shapes

Hi all

I am making a new MegaPatch, F1 2015. I have imported a new carshape that is right for the year. I am having trouble bringing through the unique cockpit shape. Its been a while since I last changed a cockpit shape and I have forgotten how to do it. Can anyone remind me how please, using the GP3 car editior. I am using GP3 2000.
Is the shape and cockpit saved inside the GP3 / GP3 2000 exe. file?

..wasn´t there a cockpiteditor? (GP3CE).

When I remember correctly the cockpit is stored in a seperate file. (but I never got this beast modded. Although Belini did it in his years, I never could redo it, tried many hours..)

Add a option "Cockpit=" to [CarshapeManager] in gpxset.ini.

[CarshapeManager]
Enable=1
Carshape=carset\carshape_2024.cs3 (GP3-2000's Carshape)
Cockpit=carset\carshape2015.cs3 (GP3 v1.13's Carshape)

It is important to mention that this configuration will only work for GPxPatch versions 4.51 and 4.52.

GPxSet: Added experimental cockpit shape patch for GP3-2000. Use a GP3 car shape file (!) to specify the cockpit.

thanks for the advice. I am still struggling to get the cockpit shape changed using CarEditor as I have so many times in the past!

can you upload the carshape the cockpit shape you want to have in the carshape? i'll give it a try then

t's incredible that only now in 2024 this topic has come up again.

Another request of mine was also made and implemented in GPxPatch in version 4.50, 4.51 and 4.52

GPxSAT: Added an option to render a driver picture above the driver name. Like country flags, driver pictures themselves are not included.


I wanted more...

I wanted each sound event, for example "RaceFastestLap" to be able to allow an image on the screen and thus put various types of TV overlays.

However, this was not possible...
