I am using the Spa 2004 track from PatrickF1

Has anyone noticed this problem;

In wet sessions/conditions, after succesfully negotiating the new left turn, the CC's all charge into the wall at the bus-stop right turn just before the pit entrance ??

Some recover and continue with their lap while some loose the left front wheel and retire??

In dry conditions everything works fine.

Ste .... many thanks for the effort

In dry conditions, the CC's make it into the bus stop :)

In the wet, however they go straight to the wall ?? Any thoughts on that?

Phoenix track

I have a similar problem with the Phoenix street circuit. I'm using Marc Aarts Phoenix track and about 50% of all cc-cars crash into the pitwall when they want to enter the pitlane.

After they hit the wall, most of them (the ones left with all 4 wheels ;)) continue they're race, but retire within a few laps because of getting out of fuel.

This happens in all sessions (testing, qualify and race) in dry weather, I haven't tested it in wet, but I guess it will be the same.

This is annoying, because a realistic race result is out of the question.

Any one noticed this problem and maybe found a solution for this?

Thanks in advance!

grts, Ron.

Just tested the track myself and had no problems. I am using magic data included in the 1991 trackpack. Maybe it makes a difference, although the gp3form.txt with the track says already pit in/out have been fixed, so perhaps you have an old version.

Thanks for the reply,

I tried using the magic data from the 1991 trackpack, but it didn't make a difference...
I don't think the magicdata is the solution for this bug, I think it has something to do with the phoenix.dat file. But I have no experience in editing tracks so I don't know how to solve it...

I read the gp3form.txt which is the same you have; it also says the pit in/out have been fixed. As far as I know I have the newest version.

To be sure I downloaded the zip file from Marc Aarts his site and reinstalled the track, but the bug remained... :S

Hi there, just ran a search on the forum because I'm having the same problem described here (cars smashing into the wall at the new bus stop chicane) and I went to download the file on this thread posted by "sté" but the link appears to be dead. Does anyone have a new link for it or a copy they can send me?

Many thanks :)
