GP3 keeps crashing!

I've recently installed the v1.13 patch, GP3edit, and the program that decrypts GP3 and allows you to mod and play with no CD. Before I installed these, it was fine, but now it keeps on crashing! Anyone know why, and how to sort it out?

I'd reinstall video drivers first.
Then the game itself.
For the last option... both, with the latest gpxpatch version.

are u using XP?

It happens mostly to XP users. Dunno why.

Nope, I'm on Windows 98.

My game doesnt work on 98....it never crashed though mind u i had hadnt got all the extra stuff only a few things...
