I am trying to change the Silverstone laps to 52 I am using Paul Hoad track editor and have changed all the Fct09.dat (Silverstone) files I can find in Circuits and in fdata and also in GPXdata folders It works fine when using Gpxpatch but when I run GP3 from Gpedit I still get 67 laps?? Is there another file I cannot find that contains this annoying 67 laps file at Silverstone? Any help please With thanks
Thanks for the reply I have done that but still no joy I have changed every Silverstone and every F1ct09.dat to 52 laps but still when I run gpedit I get the 67 lap race I just cannot think where that file is hiding
I think by opening the track.dat with the track editor and changing the amount of laps should be the easiest way. Click on the 'track' button and then move down to 'track name GP3INFO', Fill in the correct number of laps, ok, and save the track. Remember to insert the magic data
I have deleted every track file in GP3 except the F1ct01.dat to F1ct16.dat in the circuits file. uninstalled all gpx data And Still it shows lap no 67 for Silverstone there has to be another file somewhere that has this in it I am now at a loss with this for sure
It is GPxPatch that reads the magic data from the track file and patches the number of laps in memory. I guess GP3 Master changes the magic data inside the executable.
