Problems with Joystick

Hey there

I've just recently installed gp3-2000 onto a new computer that has a joystick but I'm having a handling problem. Whenever I build up speed and am nearing the end of a straight the car doesnt want to go in a stright line, instead it either wants to go left or right...but not inbetween and as ya prolly know, the slightest sudden movement can spin you off at high speed.

The problem hardly happens on Rookie setting but i tried it once on amateur and it was impossible to drive! Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Maybe you have steering help turned off (F8 i think)

nah i've tried it with both steering help on AND off, and the problem only worsens when i turn it off (which makes no sense because i should be going slower after spinning off on the corner before the straight, lol)
