help neede plz!

Hi everyone!

i just bought gp3 2000 ad ons from internet, from UK. it wont work here. i went on this site's FAQ, i found out there is a "install.fix" patch. it still doesnt work. i did what the instruction said, : "extract to the gp3 2000 folder"...didnt work. so i tried to extract it in gp3 folder...wouldnt work either. anyone has a clue, a hint for me?
second question is regarding gpedit...on my system, it says "not suitable for running on windows" the reason is (what puter says) gpedit run on 16 bits...i thought it was a graphic problem so i decresed my 32 bits graphic down to 16 bits...didnt work...

what am i doin wong? i really you guys's help! lol
