GP3 needed for GP3 2000?

Hi everyone,

You may have read that I screwed up my entire game recently, and have lost my original GP3 and GP3 2000 cds. So I have decided to by GP3 2000 again.

The question is - do I need to by BOTH the original GP3 AND GP3 2000 cds, or can I get away with just having GP3 2000 and downloading some patch that will allow me to skip the cd test (to check you have the original GP3) that you have to do when installing the GP3 2000 game.

Many thanks,

You could use the search option for a start.

Officially you need Gp3. However, there is a patch. Do a forum search on this matter, please.

We could do with a 'Sticky' on all this stuff - seems to be a lot of noob type questions floating around again. How about it?

Well excuse me for not being an anorak! I was under the impression that this forum was for help. And by the way, I tried a search as you so helpfully suggested, and came up with "nothing found". Got any other ideas??

Okay, here we go.

1. Click on this link ----> [www.ad724.com]
and download the install fix.

2. Make a folder on your HD and copy your entire Gp3 2k CD to this folder.

3. Put the files from the install fix patch into the same folder.

4. Install the game from that folder (not from the CD).

5. Congratulations, now you're an anorak, too.

Darth is my nephew. Quite a talented boy, such a shame he got fried by his own son.

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)
