Is £12 per race. For that you get a choice of on-bard camaras on almost every car, you can follow leaders or mid-group battles, watch the pits and some other things that i have forgotten about.

Go to channel 434 on sky for a pre-view

Still i think thats expensive.

£12 per race is about £200 in total :(

Sky Didigtal viewers - Channel 434 i think it is is called F1 + or something, but £12 for a race is a bitty much isnt it? Isnt interactive football on Sky free though? If it is then why isnt F1?

you 3 days worth ofr £12 don't you?

and the sky interactive is only for skysports at the moment, and you have to pay ectra for skysports anyway.

bernies selling the digital rights to sky to show F1, so you'd expect to pay for a extra specialised channel anyway, because it does'nt belong to sky

right well first of all its 200 quid over 9 months not that bad really, also you get all the different angles etc better and more on car, and dynamic camera angles, + all the practice sesions as well

also i mean i dont mind paying for quality somin ITV dont have, and sky payed a hell of a lot of money for these rights, they have gotta recoupe that somehow

True

Another good thging to do is to just by the Gp's that you want to watch:

E.G (Spa, Monaco) i think i might.

Also you dont have to pay weeks in advance. You just have to press the red button and choose pay per view, and it bills you automatically - puts it on the monthly payment.

You could do this whenever you want to

I think £12 a race is pretty fair, actually. You get coverage of any F1 car that moves throughout the weekend, and so much more in-depth stuff. The spectators don't even get that, and they pay much, much more to watch the car just go past!

Hehe you guys are starting to make me lean towards paying for it (maybe).
Is anyone else going to use it, or will i be the guinea-pig!

A friend of mine has Sky Digital, so there's about 3 of us staying up all night for Melbourne. £4 is hardly bad!

thats a good idea! i will get it, for as many races as i can afford

ive seen the digital coverage, as it was used on silverstone TV for the past few years, i obvously didnt get to choose who or what to watch but the quality, the number of different camera angles and on car cameras is fantastic, theres no hesitation as i know its quality!

Yes, the thing that really attracts me is the on-board camera feature (and of course un-interrupted coverage :D). It could aswell force ITV to increase its quality, because now that murray has gone, itv has lost its main "pull factor"

cant agree more you pay a kings ransom to go to silverstone sit in
traffic for 5 hours miss the start and see jak all when your there then
you can miss the finish just to beat the traffic or this time have a 7 hour
stint sitting in your motor no fun i can tell you when you keep needing a
piss every half hour to siphon off all the beer youve drank waiting,
12 squid is sod all for all this pain and you see the lot.
and no i dont work for sky.

Well there we go. Race over what do you think. I for one was impressed. I mean altogether you get 15 hours or more of coverage. Thats 80p an hour. The only down side is that if you are watching the On-board camara view or race leader or the following racers, No commentary. Oh well. I don't mind. Roll on Malaysia.

Well done Sky.
cheers
