old time circuits

Hi to all!
I note that old time circuits are handled like the moderns: to all track makers: be careful of the follow items:

1-in the old time circuits there weren't kerbs until end of '60.
2-there weren't guard-rails until mid of '50 (and only in rare cases...)
3-in 95% of cases, there weren't fences dividing pitlane from track (I don't know if this point is possible in GP3)
4-rarely were the grandstands
5-surely there weren't lifts and marshalls
6-BUT THEY USED HAY BALLS!
7-no skyscrapers around them
8-yes to crowd close to the tarmac

P.S.
I'm working on Riverside, is there anybody who has an altimetric profile of this circuit? this is big help for me! (robyct96@libero.it)

Thank you very much!

Check out the RaceSim Central forums in the Grand Prix Legends forums section. Do a search for Riverside and you will find a lot of information there about the track itself.

Anyway about the old tracks, Reims is the perfect example, haybales was used instead of armco for the pitwall. But the games don't allow no pitwalls though.

No armco textures, there was some stone kerbs instead of those ghastly colourful kerbs. i could go on about the Reims track!
