avoid automatic pilot in multiplayer sessions

Hi, I want to know how to avoid the automatic pilot during a multiplayer session. Some friends and I play once a week and I believe that one of them activate the AP. That give him a great advantage because we are begginers. Anybody knows if exists any patch or something to avoid the AP? Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if you want to keep on racing without it automatically switching to the other driver, press J.
I think that this option is only available with GPx patch.
