MSN Messenger and OE

Guyz, I've just installed MSN Messenger, and now my OE loads very slow.
Once I click OE icon, the splash screen show for a long time, then after about a minute the OE starts.

What's wrong and what's the solution?

OE? Outlook Express? If it is I'm afraid I have no idea

OE is indeed Outlook Express Lanky.

As to your problem mclaren_rmn I'm not sure. It might be something to do with the way Messenger intergrates into OE. Try loading OE and finding an option in the options menu to disable this intergration. It should be there somewhere. It is in Outlook anyway.

Yup it's Outlook Express.
I didn't find any integration option in neither OE nor MSN.

I had the same prob and solved it this way:

In the extra -> options menu there is an item that says: enable instant messaging in Outlook, make sure the checkbox is disabled.

Do you have Office XP installed?
You might wanna check out this option in Outlook (not express)
