nice work so far!

btw, KTC said in the Korea ReadMe:

"Permission:
This File is free for all! You don't need my permission to change and release this track!
But please put my name in the credits ;-)"

i don't think you'll be able to get the permission,i tried to contact KTC already some days ago,but apparently he has deleted every contact with GP4.He's active on gpgames.eu,but he doesn't want to get PMs.Apparently it's because of the new F1 game, but maybe Google Translator may have done some mistakes;)

great buildings anyway:-)

edit:right now i saw schueyfan's post.it's good to see that he gave the chance to use it as base for a complete version

Yeah, really nice thing from KTC, he made a good dat, only 5 mt shorter, just need to fix some banks and elevation. Luckly i found an onboard lap video, so it should be easy to do.

Race control building W.I.P. (still have to fix some normals)

And about .dat update, from what I see from the aerial photo only the first turn has to be modified.

Also, if you haven't already, have a look at the FIA map for Korea

This gives a better indication of run-offs in particular

i'm not sure, but i think that KTC made a new version with those changes, and put it on F1 League 2010's trackpack.Let me check;-)

edit: i checked the dat file from F1 League 2010's trackpack, and noticed that the turn 5 is there, but the turn 1 and 2 are wrong(but i prefer much more that version than the ones from fia maps:(turn 1 much faster),and i'm not sure, but also turn 10 should be different

yes,even ktc's dat turn 10 is different...and nicer:(

I'm going to modify "South Korea GP Beta 0.5 Dat File fix" found on GPGames.eu forum

@ SchueyFan: that will be very useful.

If any of you have good images for buildings or textures, please post them ;-)

This circuit is good, although the version I have if it is wet everybody goes straight on at turn 1, then has to reverse.

Hello Gigi,

nice to see that you work on the Korean Track. You know (because my readme) that this file is free for all.
senna9194 have the lastes version of korena track, for my old league.
if he want, he can send you the dat.

Turn 10 and Turn 1 is different to the real track. Turn 5 i have added some weeks ago for the F12010 league.
But the different turns can you change easy with the function "keep track sectors" in the Gp4Builder. if you need help, ask Laurent.

The bankings are not real, and the track have no elevations. i made this track on anyone trackmap, i don't know which.
later i see the new turn 5 and added them. but 10 and 1 are the same and not real.

i wish you good luck with this project!

ASAP I'll ask senna9194 for the new .dat. Thank you for your work, it'll save me a lot of time.

Little update

I discovered the photo I used for team buildings was cropped, so I made only part of it. Here is an update:

And I started making pits:

Anyway, I have some problems with them: the original one are really big, with a lot of garages, grouped of 7 in 7 (or 5 in 5) for a total of 32 garages.
As in GP4 we need 22 of them to be grouped I have to decide how to divide the original 32.

do you mean that a garage is bigger than 3 .dats sectors(1 sector=4.877m)?if so,then i may have an idea...

I'll try to explain

This is how real pits are made

and so on, untile there are more than 30 garages

and this is how we need to made in GP4

up to a group of22 garages

From what I understand from real images and videos, every team will use 2 garages. So I can make 2 garages wide as one traditional one, using GP4 standard track files. That way there won't be cars in pit walls, like on the first relase of Baharein track (that was a conversion). But then I have to decide how to make the remaining garages so that the shape doesn't differ from real one too much. Unluckily GP4 .dat requires that pits sectors are contiguous, so real shape (5 garages-wall-5 garages) won't work.
