2001 Cars Package Released by NickJW&MDBSNAKE

Hello guys,

i present you here my The 2001 Cars package

All the cars are converted from f1c to gp4.

the cars are early season so frentzen and alesi are still by jordan and prost and burti is still with prost and marques is the 1st driver.

i wanna thank Maikel(MDBSNAKE) for checking the cars and fixing them.

Modders and painters: feel free to use the file to update the textures or the carshapes and Maikel and Me would appreciate it if you credit us for converting the cars but its not necessary

These cars are of lower quality than cars already available for GP4 - I think you should spend your time converting a different mod.

There is already a complete 2001 mod nearing completion as well.

A good 2003 mod. If I remember rightly, the one we have atm is very bad quality. CTDP's F1Challenge 2003 mod is good quality, but you will have to ask permission.

How about some more 90s mods

I agree, it would be best to use your free time for a mod currently missing, like 1996, 1997 or 1998.

But if you want to proceed with your 2001 mod, you can use my performance files and my loading screens, just look at my signature!

I could also provide you the CSM framework, given that i find the time to do that!

Yeah I agree with Eric the 2003 cars available are great quality in regards to there age

@ Gitanes 1996 is being worked on as is 1998 and I have some plans for 1997

It's probably best to contact the guys working on the mods mate, Celinho & Kerley are working on 1996 with some help from some other members, and 1998 is being worked on by Duffer

almost all 2003 cars released for gp4 are ctdp ones, only minardi missin ( I have that one as well) and 2003 cars were amazing quality and very accurate actually from 2003-2009 cars have been amazing quality for gp4...so far 2010 has been dissapointing with only couple of cars been same quality as those years had.

no need to convert 1997 cars, Lee converted them some time ago. I think you still can download them back at racesimpitstop

@ferrari2007 - cheers - i'll have a look through and see what i can find. Only need Duffer's fantastic looking 1998 mod, and then i can play every season of F1 i've watched... (from 1997 onwards)

EDIT - Found it. @NickJW - wouldn't it be better to sort helmet positions out before posting screenshots? it kind of detracts from the quality of the work if obvious looking details like that are wrong on the screenshot. Just a friendly suggestion - keep up the good work!
