I noticed that a DTM mod had been produced and was wondering if it was
possible to produce a V8 Supercar mod. I am very new to all this moding, but
I am also very keen to learn as much as I can about it.
I would be interesting in working with some people who have expereince in
this sort of thing to make a functioning season of the V8 Supercar Series. I
know there is a lot (and lot and lot and lot) of work that goes into it, but I
would like to see it done, just as a bit of a hobby.
Looking around all the forums so far, I have noticed at least 6 tracks that have
already been made that are on the current V8 Supercar calendar...
Yas Marina - Abu Dhabi (W.I.P)
Sakhir - Bahrain
Adelaide - South Australia
Albert Park - Victoria
Phillip Island - Victoria
Surfers Paradise - Queensland
As far as the cars go, there would only need to be 2 models made, a Ford Falcon
and a Holden Commodore as the teams basicly use the same cars.
I don't know how possible this all is but if anyone is interested, please post your thoughts.
I, and i'm sure lots of other people would be interested to see how this turns out.
