Does a 1998 mod exists or some cars has been released?

I've got 1998 tyres to work.
I modified these ones from another author's tyres, just to see if my concept works and
now i know it does, i'm now building my own tyres from new.

Good work, however I think the front wheels should be wider, I see too much difference between front and back wheels.

In -98 they use about the same wide front wheels as they did in -97. They just ad 3 grooves at the front and 4 at the rear.
That was to slow the car down and together with a narrower suspension. (first year with 180cm max wide)
The differens in wide at the tyre tread was 1 inch. Bridgstone was 1 inch wider at the tread than Good Year who got problem
with understeer and low grip in the firs races. They get wider later that season (the tread). The rim wide was the same.
There was still a clear differens between front and rear compare to todays cars.

@ Flash/ i think you got it about right when I see your screenshot. What you should look at is the angle of the tyrewall and tread
at the front and rear. You will see that there is a difference at the front compare to the rear wheel.
The front wheels get wider and wider after that year.

The Good Year tyrewall and wet tread is the same as I made for the -94 set from Tis, Öggo and me.
The texture is used at the -95 mod too. If you like you kan use those texture and add the tread at the slick texture.
Then you just have to add Bridgestone tyrewall, wet tread and "slick" tread (they are different at G-Y and B-S)
