I figured it was time to open a new thread to show (off) my track updates.
I'm working on a few tracks. Basically to adorn the 1991 mod with.
Let's start with Montreal 1991.
The layout was not very hard to modify and after a few tests I found the right cc-line.
The hardest job was (is) the graphical part. I'm still working on the adverts and need to fix some holes in the road.
Here are some screenshots of the new section:
And here is the s/f section of the track:
The second track I'm working on is the Phoenix street circuit of 1991.
At the moment it's just tarmac and walls and a poor ccline. It needs a lot of work and I need a lot of pictures of the buildings and adverts.
The third track I started is Magny Cours 1991.
I made a bad choice by working on it in 3ded 16.4. Anyway it will be fixed but it's not on the top of the list at this moment.
Other track updates I'm planning are Barcelona 1991 and Monza 1991. I'll keep posting updates in this thread so please don't litter it too much

Looking great Erik! Happy new year to you too, I know I'm a little late.. but better late as never.. I always say. We should get together on MSN or whatever again, it's been too long, huh?

Rear wheels do not touch the tarmac, so be sure to update track pitch, cccars pitch and cccars dir and save your .dat again
Concerning the poping up objects, be sure that the new textures you made ( if it's only your rail texture, everything will be solved by fixing the rail texture) are in DXT1 or in DXT5 with semi transparency (and not full transparency which is responsible for those artefacts).
This can be check with TexResizer as you surely know.

Great work on this track Erik! You're doing an impressive work on both this and the 91 MOD! Keep it up!
the settings.ini is only for users of the beta version of TSM (the future of track management). So just delete it if you don't have TSM.

I've completed the Molson Export adverts at the front straight today. I do have some work on the track surface to fit the new track to the old verges in some corners.

Not even the hairpin It's just the back straight, some kerbs and of course the adverts.
