Now that I've got that out of my system, allow me to present a new helmet for Grand Prix 4:

I know I posted about this months ago, but a hard drive crash cause me to lose a good deal of stuff - including this helmet.
(Originally, it was going to be one of the 'classic' Stormtrooper helmets)

When I picked this idea up again the other day, I knew that I had to surrender to the hype, and so I went and found one of the new 'First Order' Stormtroopers.

Included in the archive are the shapes (*.gp4), one texture (*.tex) ready to go, and a bunch of template files to create your own designs.
Full details in the enclosed Readme files. (One .txt, one .pdf)

Wowsers! that helmet is amazing Aus_Doug, really great helmet. Did you know that in the late seventies, drivers has access to a weird helmet that was shaped like a darth vader helmet in the front. And it was called the star wars helmet. James Hunt wore one for his final season with Wolf. It would really neat if you made an authentic Darth Vader shaped helmet.

Oh, Oh, I think a storm trooper sabotaged the link, it does not work for me. I click download and nothing happens. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'd forgotten to make it a direct download link, and the Dropbox site doesn't work well for everyone.

Yeah it works great now. Thank-you AUS_Doug for fixing it. I usually don't have problems with dropbox, it's boxnet I have trouble with.

I spoke too soon, the download crashes halfway through, one time I had up to 91% then it crashed. I will keep trying to download it.
