Can't update cars properly

Hi.

After some years without playing the game, today I made a fresh install and tried to update the cars to the 2014-2015 season. Everything looked ok until I saw this (look at Mercedes rear):

All cars are showing the same image. Any ideas of how to solve this?

Thanks.

I've tried to update cars made by different authors. Even an update of just one team on the original cars.wad, via wadupdater, will have the same effect. My textures settings are on "high", running gp4.exe on XP compability. Don't know why this going on.

this problem there is not related to graphics, but with the gp4tweaker tool (Y)

The rear tyres are in wrong position, need to go backwards, that´s all. Are you using csm mod or a modified cars.wad?

I did the following:

- Fresh GP4 install
- Patch 9.6
- No CD 1.02

Then I extracted original cars.wad using wadupdater. Renamed the 2015 cars files properly (car_rb11_car1_lod_0 to car_ferrari_car1_lod_0 and so on).

Past 2015 files on "cars" folder. Created new cars.wad using wadupdater and moved it to GP4 main folder. And then started playing.

No CSM, no mods, no gpxpatch, just pure GP4 with a new cars. wad. I'm running Win 7 (gp4.exe on xp sp3 compability mode). I also reinstalled the game three times and did the same things but the problem persists.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Look at the BAR car (original from the game) on the second picture. No problem at all. But when I update a car with new .gp4 and .tex files...

No, you´re not doing anything wrong, the original bar is ok and the new cars aren´t because of the wheelbase (the distance between the centers of the front and rear wheels) in the new cars is bigger, use team editor to move the rear tyres backwards and it will be fixed. (Y)

Thank you, Foreverk. (Y)

Could you please tell me where on team editor can I make the change (positions, carshape tab) and the correct coordinates (numbers) should I insert there?

And sorry for the newbie questions.

I see Wheel positions on Team Editor. Is wheelbase Y collumn?

yes, in the "wheel positions", change the Y values (both):

Restart playing, I mean. After six years without playing this great game, now I'm back. :-o
