I'd have liked to see some of the port used, but nonetheless it should be good.

People have slated it for looking a bit strange, but I'm told there's a lot of elevation changes which should be a real test. I think there will be very little margin for errors, like Monaco, as evidenced by the minimal run-off area.

Looks good from that mock-up. The more elevation changes and unusual track characteristics it can have, the better. A narrow track would add to the character of it too.

Or they could cancel Azerbaijan and just have the race at Knockhill. :P

I dislike the fact that all corners to te straights are 90 degrees right/ left handers. It makes the straight as useless as rosberg's square tyres.

Adelaide was nothing but 90-degree corners, and people pine for that for some reason...

adelaide had a fantastic layout to its longest straight - a 3th gear corner. No wonder no passes happened onthe start/finish straigt. after all it had a 90degree corner leading to it , which made overtaking there virutally impossible.

I think it looks amazing! Should certainly be interesting. The old town bit looks stupidly tight....
