Hi Roberto,

When this kind of issue happens to me it's most generally that I've inverted 0xa1 & 0xa2 commands or that they are into the same track sector.

You can send it but I'm not sure if I can see what's going on.

There's also the track flags, with pit box left/right at entry/exit, that is of influence.

thanks anyway René, i solved it the fastest way, dumped all in the bin and rebuilt it.
it's a very strange bug because all commands were in the right place with the right arguments. Payed the fee I hope to avoid it for a while now

Hi rené, another question from my side this time ;-(
While updating belini silverstone to 2013, i run into unexpected textures on walls and ribbons.
Exiting the game gives me this assert :

0x0048e9a5 -> Some texture related function called >= 512 times.
0x0048e9a5 -> Some texture related function called >= 512 times.
It happens when adding fence-ads, roadsides.....

I suppose there's somehow a limit to how often we can use a texture related command (fence, ribbon, roadside,etc..)
Could you look if it is possible to set this limit to 1024? Else, i'll have to make some compromises.

You can sent me a pm (in dutch) for more info.

thanks,
Dirk

a little add-on : the max of internal object definitions is 116; 117 means ctd.

I can avoid this by using more of the same objects, but would be nice if it can be adjusted too.

correction: Reason for ctd must be something else, since i found singapore had 130 and running fine.

sorry, it seems that v4.22 & 4.21 lost its functionality with 2D-eventsounds under GP3-2k!

All that these two versions do is playing only the 1st event-sound (EnterCockpit) but none of the others! -This happens only with GP3-2k not GP3v1.13!

This wonderfull feature was working correct until v4.20! -What happened?

It could be broken by accident by changes I made to GPxSound for 4.21. I'll check it out.

a sound related Question after testing alot:
it is not possible to set inside gp3-2k the option "use original gp3 sound" (which disables the 3D-sounds), while gpxsound is doing the 3D-sounds, right?

..thank you for all!

I'm using the GapAhead and GapBehind info items in GPxCInfo (for pitboards) and I've noticed the + and - signs are used the wrong way around, compared to the way GP4 displays them on the dashboard.

GapAhead uses a + sign, so if, say, Vettel is 2 seconds ahead of me, the pitboard says "VET +2.0". Whereas the steering wheel dashboard says "Vettel -2.0".

I don't expect it will be high on Rene's priority list, but if you see this Rene, could you please add a fix for this to the wishlist?

I can't reproduce this :( I tried a quickrace and a limit of 20km in GP3, and the rain was still there after saving and loading the game.

Is the track still slippery or is everything dry?

did you tried to do a normal championship or non-championship race? i didn't tried the quickrace though. the track looks slippery indeed. seems the game recognizes the data as that weather whatever is the rain.
with the latest version when possible i'll wipe all and make a fresh install and see

I didn't change anything in the latest version regarding this.

So it's just the rain drops missing? Or also different sky?
