The 2010 tv style cannot really be made for gp4 (currently) and of course the rfactor plugin wouldn't do anything - gp4 has no safety car either so no I'm afraid.by Robert - Grand Prix 4

I agree with most of that - regarding the AI, they still sometimes set weirdly inconsistent lap times though they are a little better than before (with the catchup.xml deleted of course), and the fuel consumption is slightly better but still fairly broken - e.g. the AI seems to have around a 3/4 full tank at the start of a 100% race (why they still get off the line quicker with fuel sim on). For the first issue, see the data page of the CSM 1.25 advanced docs to see where you're going wrong - they're not included with the new csm so I've uploaded them here for you: You need a "TargetFile=cars_xxxxx.wad" line as the trackspec system is meant to create multiple cars.wad files, and you'd need to set those wads through gpxpatch to be used for the differenby Robert - Grand Prix 4

In my brief attempts at offline races (pc pre patch) I did notice on legend that at some tracks the AI would have absurd acceleration at around 100mph in some places - i.e. their exit and top speeds were fine, but in mid-range acceleration they would sometimes seem to just blast off for a few seconds. An example I can remember was at Suzuka between Degner 2 and the hairpin - I seem to remember nby Robert - Other Games

Yup - the 3 laps under the safety car count to race distance, so if the race is called off then half points will be awarded for current positions. Although the 2 hour limit hasn't been paused as such, if the race is restarted they will add the time it was suspended for to that two hours, so light will be the issue - sunset at around 5.45 local time (9.45 BST), so if the race restarts shorby Robert - F1

Try the ffb xml file in this thread (without the optional grip editor) - I found it helped make the ffb more realistic I changed the ingame stettings to Env=60, Strength=70, Weight=20 though - with logitech settings all 100.by Robert - Other Games
Even if you can't get permission for cars and tracks, it would still be great if you uploaded the menus, perf files etc. so we can add the rest (perhaps providing links to tracks and cars)by Robert - Grand Prix 4
This sounds interesting, but please be aware that you won't be allowed to release the mod here if you do not obtain the required permissions - it's a matter of respect for the modders' workby Robert - Grand Prix 4
Suzuka is also far too wide in places (at least in my opinion), and I agree that Melbourne is awful too.by Robert - Other Games

As for your home computer, I'm afraid it's a fake - you didn't steal it from a submarine did you? : But I'd wait for gav's verdict on the laptop (or fan heater as the third looks like)by Robert - Off-Topic

There currently isn't a tutorial I'm afraid - the best way to create a mod is either using csm to create a mod from a normal gp4 installation and then editing it, or if you want to create it from scratch then try looking through other mods to work out how the file system works etc. If you need help, there's the csm forums over at Hope that helps Robby Robert - Grand Prix 4
