just tried it on 360... not bad - graphically awful, but the driving model is fairly nice - very Colin Mcrae rally (note- not Dirt) feel to it. If the presentation was up to modern standards, it could be quite a nice game. Unlikely unfortunately - one to get from a bargain bin methinks

Other Games do they come up as analog axes in the windows control panel? (in the game controllers bit) if so, then it'll be a case of setting GP4 to use those axes for it's throttle/brake. I've only done it with an xbox360 controller, so i'm not 100% sure how the PS3 ones work

Grand Prix 4 i find it's always GPxPatch with causes issues... But i still use it - when it works it's awesome

Grand Prix 4 just for reference, i've had stock GP4 running on an old 1.8GHz single core AMD Turion laptop, with an X700 graphics board... managed to get it running well on that, so your rig should be OK

Grand Prix 4 Vista is fine for everything... no idea why people have issues with it.
graphically - you should be able to get medium details at best, but you should just about be able to get a playable frame rate. just give it a go... the laptop won't explode if it doesn't like it!

Grand Prix 4 guys without cars - would like an update please (by PM if you want)
btw - if it helps, i don't mind updating liveries mid season if you have something but it isn't finished...

Grand Prix 4 Steven Hood confirmed on twitter that they're doing a patch... I shall hold off purchase until i find out what the patch actually fixes...

Other Games a gp4 wiki could work as a links database - potentially with screenshots and info about the mods/cars/whatever. maybe even post the readme on there, so people know how to install it...

Grand Prix 4 grand idea... no idea how it would work though. Such a shame the downloads section of GPG died in it's old form...

Grand Prix 4 surely a 'fix patch' isn't really DLC - DLC to me is stuff which adds something new to the game, like new shapes, liveries etc

Other Games LOL, that commentator is hilarious!

Other Sports yeah, i've been busy lately - just into the last week of my job before going back to uni... it's all kicking off!
afaik, we're short of a belgium helmet, and still waiting for a few cars (see table)... other than that, there's not much happening really
folks who owe me cars - if you can get them done ASAP, that'd be fab, and we can get the racing started - let me

Grand Prix 4 i think they're possibly on gp4db.com... but don't hold me to that!

Grand Prix 3 the GP4 ones work fine for GP3, because they work using GPxPatch

Grand Prix 3 Forza 3 (only 2 achievements left now...), Battlefield Bad Company 1, and some Halo ODST. PC gaming taking a back seat at the moment

Other Games my school used to have to go for saturday mornings. They abandoned that one, but still had a 6 day timetable (even while i was there)

Grand Prix 4 By my reckoning, this is the latest update. Stuff in orange is stuff i know exists, i'm just waiting for upload. Stuff in green is in-game.
Would like to kick things off soon really - if you have stuff we're waiting for, and you're struggling, let me know, and we'll see what can be done so the racing can begin!

Grand Prix 4 much like Brundle's "he looks like he's fighting an octopus", which he's used a couple of times this year

F1 @Ferrari2007 - Pedro hasn't got anywhere near as much experience as Nick, and hadn't raced for 3 years before this year - look how bad Schumi's doing to see how badly the skills become rusty in that time

F1 I'd quite happily sacrifice brundle so we could get croft in there. But Charlie Cox would be legendary - motoGP's had quite a dull year - the only reason i can keep watching the races is down to the entertainment value of the commentators - they know their stuff, and are entertaining with it - presenting what facts are necessary, and showing the right level of passion for an impartial

F1 yeah, have to admit i preferred the resistance tour 'entrance'. Was spine tingling

Off-Topic excellent - Sauber now have an excellent driver lineup - a fast rookie, who isn't making too many silly errors, and an experienced hand to help develop the car. Excellent!

F1 yeah... think saturdays is definitely the better list (of the trakcs that were different) New born is becoming overplayed really, butterflies, i can take it or leave it, and Neutron star is just hideous... still can't bring myself to believe it's Muse

Off-Topic yup, was awesome Some Vids I shot on my poor quality camera!

Off-Topic good riddance.. the current 3 newbies have been a total waste of time really. I can't see Virgin improving for next year, and HRT will doubtless run out of money soon. Lotus mite improve, but only as far as torro rosso i reckon
