if the manual says it will only work in NTSC then set the xbox to ntsc. the standard depends on the country, for example: i'm in the uk so everything is in PAL (see here: )by _tux_ - Off-Topic

something i thought of earlier. load up the system event log, filter on events 1 and 42 (put 1,42 in the event id filter). power-troubleshooter will tell you why the system woke up, kernal-power will tell you why it slept this should tell us if it is actually going to sleep, and why it thinks it should go to sleepby _tux_ - Off-Topic

i have to ask, with i7 now released, why do you want to upgrade your motherboard if its not broken? why not wait until the i7 stuff is a bit cheaper and just upgrade to that? saves you having to buy 2 motherboards in a short timeby _tux_ - Off-Topic
