In replay mode? Cycling through the views I don't see any arms.by mortal - Grand Prix 4
thanks Bruno, I'll add that link to my bookmarksby mortal - Grand Prix 4
How come I cannot see arms in t-cam view? I am looking in replay mode. Is this correct? I have installed a new wheel but still i cannot see it, the new wheel even shows arms. What am I doing wrong here? Any advice etc would be really appreciated, this is pissing me off big time! ;-/ It is so easy to change a wheel in gp3 but this is a major disaster! wtf!by mortal - Grand Prix 4
yes I have found files in the wad and succesfully updated them but still I cannot see them, either in t-cam or cockpit view! I dont know why either.by mortal - Grand Prix 4
Does anyone know where in the wad files the internal cockpit steering wheel view files are located? TIAby mortal - Grand Prix 4
Well I wish the original files I downloaded contained that info, would have saved me a lot of mucking about ;-/ I expect you've seen all my wad file posts....and wtf lolby mortal - Grand Prix 4
right Ellis, where in the wad is the internal wheel?by mortal - Grand Prix 4
ahaa, so maybe then the steering weheel update is only visible in T-cam? must go looky later ;-/by mortal - Grand Prix 4
Any Aussies know where I can get these titles. SCGT is getting on a bit though, I will gladly pay postage etc. if anyone has a copy that they no longer want Would really like to add this one to my collection. TIAby mortal - Off-Topic
Scored a demo cd when I bought a copy of Toca2 Touring Cars yesterday(A$19-00), this looks pretty good, only keyboard steering support so that sucks majorly and only one track, Adelaide. Final release supposedly Feb 2003, sure hope it's better than that disaster V8 Challenge, what a load of rubbish that was. Toca2 is good fun tho, something different for a changeby mortal - Off-Topic
yeah, that'd be right, today it loadsby mortal - Grand Prix 4
arms? what arms, I don't have arms in my cockpit? maybe this has something to do with why I cannot change the steering wheel? The new files has arms, i can see them after insertion to the wad with gp4master but no change at all in the game.....<sigh>by mortal - Grand Prix 4
I believe you but as you say "thousands wouldn't" heheheby mortal - Grand Prix 4
Any aussie's know where I can get hold of this? My local store (Harvey Norman) hasn't even heard of it :-/by mortal - Off-Topic
Sweet. Looks like a must have, when is this going to hit the stores in Oz? Hopefully not too far awayby mortal - Off-Topic
I've tried everything, I have removed all files from my internet cache and still it won't come up, wtf...is the link dead or what?by mortal - Grand Prix 4
file properties says they are all archive ;-/by mortal - Grand Prix 4
I like that sig pic Lo2k is that some new proggy in development?by mortal - Grand Prix 4
good grief, I'll get back to you on that, sheeesh, doh and bang my head against a convenient brick wallby mortal - Grand Prix 4
exactly, downsampling does this yes? therefore why do I need to alter the cfg file? If all the files have been inserted corrdctly and downsampled I should be able to see them, yet i cannot......like I said, I give up.by mortal - Grand Prix 4
Interesting information, I have been specifying where I want the file but it won't go there. Also the first line in my f1graphics.cfg is turned off, set to "0" therefore gp4 is not using it, isn't downsampling in gp4master allowing the use of 16 bit textures? ok then how about taking the new textures and setting the bit rate in photoshop or paint shop pro to 16 bit maybe. Wellby mortal - Grand Prix 4
Ok, here's what's happening, I take the original wad, de-compile it and extract all to a new dir, succesfully insert the new steering wheel tga's and downsample all. The wad is then succesfully saved and re-compiled. The wad usually appears in the gp4master dir, (is this usual?) The new wad is then placed into the gp4 dir with it's correct file name. The wad does not displayby mortal - Grand Prix 4
I have the Phantom's skull ring , that would make me nearly 400 years old , sorry Keith.by mortal - Grand Prix 4
So is everyone else apparently, see the " wad files hate me" and "wad file compiler wanted" posts. Editing is usually done with GP4Master, "how to" instructions are in the install file. Recompiling is a bitch as the file never seems to be created where you would expect it to be, even though you specify a dir the re-compiled wad appears in the gp4master dir. And get tby mortal - Grand Prix 4
I get close to that with a P2 2.4ghz 512mb 333ddr ram Geforce2mx400 64mb 29:83 dets, my res is 1024x etcby mortal - Grand Prix 4
I think you can do this if you use gpx_patch to load gp4, there is an option for configuring the keys there. You should really get yourself a wheel, preferably one with force feedbackby mortal - Grand Prix 4
what don't you say at a gay bar? can I push your stool in for you?by mortal - Off-Topic
dammit Dave, you've only made me lose all hope ;-/by mortal - Grand Prix 4
This is ridiculous, I'm using gp4Master to insert a new steering wheel, as per the gp4form.txt, I de-compile the wad, extract all the tex's, insert the new tga's and save as tex's, re-compile the wad, now it's completely blown out the file size?? wtf, whatever, I replace the original wad with the newly supposedly edited wad and fire up gp4, expecting to see a new steeringby mortal - Grand Prix 4
Why does it have to be 32bit if you can only have 24bit? What's that all about? Open the wad file and extract all the textures, then import your new tga file into gp4 master and downsizing/downsampling can be done from the tex workshop menu. Also within the original superfast gp4 post, if you can be bothered to look it up and actually take the time to read it there is some valuable info therby mortal - Grand Prix 4
