Of course we have to admit: It is possible, undoubtedly! But to prove your dream(s) are able to come true, something practical has to become out of this here . So, are you brave enough?by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
I think we can add GP3-works for sure . Everyone who want to exclude his GP3-works can write it here and I think bigbrother will add that information in the first post .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

Oh yes, today's CASIO-chicane is only a shadow of it's former self. The old one was great, even because its high cerbs you had to cut to be fast. But it's the same at 130R. After the layout was modifyed and the runoffs became bigger and tarmac, it wasn't that great that it was before... .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Atticus ! Looking forward to your next track. But to be honest I like today's Degner very much .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
I am no expert in magicdata, but I think this is not direct editable. The #1-team allways uses the first pit. If you really want to change that, rename the ferrari-files to prost-files (only .GP4-files, not the .tex-files!) in cars.wad to exchange the order. After that you have to change the order in the performance data upsite down as well . In consequence I recommend to make the pitbuildingby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
To stay in reality: I really think the source code would be more useful, cheaper and more likely archivable. But still the source code will probably cost more than 100,000.- £, sadly . So expecting, 100,000 are enough: How could we get that sum? I promise here that I really would give 100 € fot it! But either Laurent is a millionaire in secret or we would never get that sum . Added the guide "How To Fix Invisible Objects" on first post . Enjoy!by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Hey all, when I'm edding a .GP4 I sometimes want to move only one vertex of a face. So I click on object/part/faceXX/vertexX and press F6 to move it. But very often (not allways!) at least one other not marked vertex is moving as well . Is there a way to swap a setting to avoid this? Thanks in advanceby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Oh well, sorry, but this can have so many reasons . I think we are unable to help at the moment. Probably the reason for the crashes is a corrupted cars.wad or anim.wad in the GP4-Folder or the CSM-Folder. But it could be a broken track as well...by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Really a great job! Absolutely sensational !by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Things go wrong by adding kerbs is a bit uncommon, but of course I can have a look at it. But I don't have enought time for it until tomorrow afternoon (european time) .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Great to hear that ! Looking forward to your america trackpack . I am making an american track as well at the moment.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Oh, Bernie wouldn't like the pitbuilding :-P. But great unmordern look. Does a layout of this track already exist? I would be very interesting in it. As far as it look, this could be a very great track .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
You can do it with Lo2k's GP4Builder. Open the .dat-file ("S1CTXX" ). Doubleclick track sectors, mark the initial sector on click on "show GP4 infos data". In section "name:" you can insert the track name. Thats the text displayed e.g. during looking the grid. At last save the .dat and insert it in the GP4/circuit directory .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
A bit more text for a better understanding would be quite helpful. But as thestig88 said you need SlimTex by ZAZ or TexResizer by Lo2k to open/convert .tex-files. The only task to do with EasyWad is compressing/uncompressing folders to .wad.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
This thread contains all my small releases, like tools, tutorials, etc. Here we go: --> Image Calculator for GP4Builder: A simple Excel worksheet to calculate the right size of a picture in GP4Builder to get the right distances in game, finally. And here is How may to fix it: 1. Uninstall the Catalyst Control Center. 2. I followed an instruction to remove CCC completely (a bit tweaking in registry and some directorys, see my annex). 3. Reinstalling CCC from CD (version 12.1 or lower). 4. Blocking internet access for ATI and all other components on firewall! Testing showed me, that the Builder is working fine again now . Well, what should I say?! First: THANKS to soulbringer and phantaman . The major problem is solved now! Second: What happened: As it seemed, my ATI driver (Catalyst Control Center) auto-updated the driver and that was what the trouble was caused by. I reinstalled my old driver from CD, but it wasn't enough. Updating to the latest drivers hadn't had an effect as well. Third:by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
So either we both are the only ones having problems with our Radeon or everyone here is using a NVIDIA card instead .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
1. Before starting GP4, launch GPxPatch 2. Go to GPxCinfo 3. Check one of the boxes, go in the popup window to the directory, where you panel is saved on your haddrive and doubbleclick the .ini file (its a simple text-file). 4. Now click on "start GPx" in the GPxPatch to launch GP4 . That's it.by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
@ salvasirignano: By setting all flags correctly there is no reason for your pitlane not to work . Looking forward to your trackby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4

Yes, that was one of the things I thought about. I think it would be quite easy to exchange the pit textures, but to make them 100% realistic we would need the 1998 pit textures, those are sadly nby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
@ SkaaningeN: Nice to hear that. That means you do have the legendary 1998 cars those got lost, right xD? @ hasbriale: Great news, i'm looking forward to the video . @ SAT_LAB: DAMN, why wasn't that on MY mind, during progressing that track xD? But as a compensation you can find Bernie & Max at pitlane entrance . I really planned to add one or two funny things to the trackby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Spa-Francochamps 1998: I'm very proud to present the 1998 version of Spa-Francochamps for Grand Prix 4: Before download, please read this and try to help me solving my current GP4Builder problem . Hey all, sadly I have a major problem with the GP4Builder (v. 1.841) at the moment. When I try to add a new texture or even want to change a texture of an existing face the Builder shows me an error message and crashes. Every texture which was allready in the .GP4 is displayed correctly. As you can see "glu32.dll" seems to be the problem. I exchanged it with an original one fromby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
It was about 30 minutes after I started driving the track, free practice. I spun in turn 3, there was a bump in the grass and when the car was in the air, it freezes .by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Veeery nice to drive! Great layout Sadly I have had a freeze after some time, but I think this bug is unfixable so far. But though a great work!by klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
Main point is that the track is still under progress . For those who can't wait - like me xD - I found the old thread with some new/old informationby klausfeldmann - Grand Prix 4
