Which server you on Dave? I have an enforcer on Patriot. Shocking news about Realtime Worlds though. Got a few mates that were working there. It's a shame, cause APB has some real potential with some development time. I hope someone buys it out and rescues it.by Xero - Other Games
Nice pic danm, got a bigger resolution? I think that makes (some of) the cars look fantastic!by Xero - F1
Anyone spot McLaren's fancy new toys ? Must be to measure the airflow into the sidepods.by Xero - F1
It seems McLaren are running a pretty radical rear end this year. Like Chet said, it'll just be validation to compare the computer simulations. I love this part of the season! The excitment is building nicely!by Xero - F1
There's nothing stopping the circuits having contracts with both series. What would happen would be a race to sign exclusive contracts, but as I would expect, most of the circuits would follow suit with FOTA.by Xero - F1

I reckon Paul di Resta will go back to his old team Manor next year. Manor and McLaren have enjoyed a close relationship for many years (I'm surprised they havn't got Mercedes engines), so it could be a stepping stone for a McLaren seat in 2011. Good predictions though, quite possible.by Xero - F1
McLaren introduced a number of new components to the car today, most notibly the rear wings lower central region and the diffuser. Minor changes visually going by the images below, but obviously bigger changers aerodynamically. The images below are from monday and wednesdays tests.by Xero - F1
McLaren get radical with new floor. The McLaren team has revealed a radical new aerodynamic modification on the MP4-24 in Barcelona, which could explain the team's recent lack of pace in testing; the car, driven by Heikki Kovalainen on Monday, is sporting a new floor which is missing certain parts in an attempted bid to improve airflow to the rear end of the vehicle. Is it just me or do Ferrari appear to be having an awful lot of reliability issues with their new car? Just seen another stranded Ferrari from todays test being pushed by mechanics. Seems like we're in for a repeat of last season... Ferrari having the edge on most circuits, but suffering from reliability problems, while McLaren keep plugging away and picking up the advantages where they can.by Xero - F1
Hi Ulf. Sorry, don't come on here much these days. Got your email anyway, and I have no problem with you releasing your new wheels. Pleased you chose to ask me beforehand too.by Xero - Grand Prix 4
Oh dear... I really think the FIA have shot themselves in the foot here! How could they possibly leave McLaren out of it, even Toyota too imo. Not sure what the general idea is behind all this politics bs, but just as there seemed to be peace, this happens. I'd like to know the reasons behind the choices... doubt we'd ever see them though.by Xero - F1

Astonishing number of applicants! I think it would be safe to assume the current teams would be guarenteed a place on the grid, leaving only one new slot for the other 11 applicants. I think it should be increased though. Perhaps to 14 teams... 28 cars. Is that pushing it?! Most circuits could easily handle that amount.by Xero - F1
Thats quite impressive! I think the times will be close to last years due to the tyre changes coming back. They will be alot softer and gripier. It's too easy to jump to any conclusions after the practice sessions. Don't use them as a guide to performance. We'll see everyones true pace after qually.by Xero - F1
Awesome! The grid needed a wild looking livery.by Xero - F1
It's nonsense wherever you heard it. His ankle has been put back into the socket, and he's having surgery on his leg today. They're saying it doesn't look career threatening. He should be back for the start of next season if everything goes well.by Xero - Off-Topic
I might, havn't decided. I'll wait and try the MP demo first I reckon.by Xero - Other Games
We've had these discussions a billion times before! It's all too obvious people will back their favourite sim, while picking exaggerated bad bits out of the competition. For me LFS is better, but I still think rFactor is great too. Thats just me though... everyone has their own opinions, and the only way to find "your sim" is to make your own and try them all. I like it!! Too much red on the wing though, they should make that black or something.by Xero - F1
I find it astonishing so many people have written McLaren off already!! Michael Schumacher is one of them. I have faith Mercedes will get it right before next months opener. Am I the only one looking forward to this new qually system? I think it'll be great!by Xero - F1
I think it would be silly to say the new McLaren sucks. They are having engine problems, which I kind of expected going by Mercedes recent record. I suspect they are having similar problems to Honda. It's not that the pace isn't there. it's just the engine overheats when they use it. Thats why the times have been low so far, the team would have been monitoring the problem. Kimi proby Xero - F1
I'm not in the slightest bit worried. McLaren know they have the best car, so do I. Testing isn't all about pushing the car, that'll come next week. I think they are easing the engine into full revs step by step to gain data along the way, rather than going all out straight away and risking blowing the thing.by Xero - F1
Looks promising. The back end looks stunning!by Xero - F1
I'd say the second one looks more likely. The whole point is to make room for a new pit complex. The second layout looks as if it'll allow a straighter and larger pit area.by Xero - F1
I would imagine the teams wouldn't mind the facilities seeing as Spa is one of the most prestigious Grand Prixs in the world. I'm sure Bernie will try his hardest to make sure the race goes ahead. F1 can't afford to keep getting these desputes.by Xero - F1
It looks good to me. I'm like most, I don't want to see such a dramactic change to the cosmetics, but you can't argue with it's physical effect on the cars! Look at those air flow diagrams... no loss in front downforce at all for a car length behind. The cars wont lose any speed either by the looks of it. The width of the wing element comes to about the same. It's just beby Xero - F1
