@Auscain : Thanks and don't worry for the missed report. My todo list was already (and still) hundred lines long
@Enzojz : Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated from a true representant of this GP4 era we travelled through

Grand Prix 4 Good idea !
I'm really wondering what happened with your file.

Grand Prix 4 Indeed, I don't remind I worked on this feature since years but something in computation has changed.
Hopefully, you can use GP4Builder 2015 for this specific feature (I will check my code for 2017 version but I can't promise any update).

Grand Prix 4 Thanks for this detailed description
I just checked your working folder .wad and was surprised to find 2 different .gp4 in it (the one at root is surely unecessary).
By the way, both .gp4 are correct regarding tags and parent values.
hmm...

Grand Prix 4 Creating a .gp4 debug file gives some answers :
-- Objects --
Tag 24: 24
Object Name: TRACK_DLLine00
Tag 35: 124370072
Parent: 124370072
Tag 36: 868
First Child: -1
Tag 37: 37
Next Object: -1
...
Tag 35 must be 35
Parent should be -1 (else it looks for object ID 124370072 which most probably doesn't exist)
Tag 36 must be 36
Question is why all your objects have these 3 &q

Grand Prix 4 Just for information, what's your CPU and motherboard ?
I can see a lot of specific hardware tweaks in your list and I never had to deal with that (mostly all the changes from your step 1)

Grand Prix 4 2 other ideas :
- In GPxpath main tab, set CPU mode to 0
- Are you sure there is no space char in any of the driver names ?

Grand Prix 4 Alex aka Duffer has to deal with some real life issues and can't focus on GP4 anymore.
I'm quite sure he will post an archive one day or another but you have to understand he has many other things in mind that come first.
Please just don't wait for it too eagerly for now

Grand Prix 4 @Kedy89 : Indeed ! I was wondering while replying to quickslick if batch editing could help but I didn't remind I added vertex tint batch editing. Thanks for the reminder
BTW, it only fix diffuse vertices tint but not specular. I assume it's ok though.

Grand Prix 4 Thanks everyone for your kind words again
@Quickslick : Nice side effect of the global shading, you can now preview the green tint that ZM is incorrectly applying to cars vertices (since forever) and that was leading to green tint ingame on cars with dynamic reflection. There's a button for that in Action/Fix Green object. I'm just sad to notice you need to do it for every object on

Grand Prix 4
Hi everyone,
I promised I would release a last version of GP4 Builder and what a better time than a new year to release it ?
More over, I discovered GP4 Builder 2015 was released the exact same day, 2 years ago, so it's somewhat an anniversary
So here it is, you can now grab this 2017 revision in the download section.
It's a major revision as I worked a lot on it during 20

Grand Prix 4 I have to contact him for a few mods I couldn't copy from RealGPx to GPGames so I will also tell him about this mod.
Not sure he will have much time and much access to his computer quickly but who knows (BTW he is in holidays this week).

GP4 Misc Graphics Description
This little file is simply the one i made for... GP3.
Reason is that despite GP4 is using a whole new 3D graphical engine, grid lines are still using the old jip format.
This new file replaces all original tarmac blurry white and yellow lines by new sharper ones (even if GP4 blur them anyway). The best track to enjoy these is surely Monaco.

New tarmac bumpmap texture file
Latest changes
- texture's size is now 512*512 (700Kb) instead of 1024*1024 (3Mb !), without visible quality loss.

GP4 Trackgraphics Here is the G-force cross I (Lo2k) made some time ago when I built 2005 HUD.
It has no small version and only appears for onboard (all but cockpit and t-cam) cameras and only for player's car (GPxPatch limitation).
BEWARE : This mod requires GPxPatch 3.91 or better to work ingame
