Fully agreed. 2011 was exciting and while Vettel had the edge it was'nt like Ferrari in 2002. 2004. Also this TV moaning is unreal. If you aren't going to watch F1 because of £22 a month, not forgetting the other streams, filesharing repeats/torrent options and so on, it beggars belief. Moaning for months on here isn't going to get the BBC to change their mind. If you want to watch

F1 Have I missed something but normally at least a team thanks an outgoing driver. I haven't seen anything for Rubens. I sort of feel Frank and Patrick liked him when they took him on in 2009 but since then with Parr its been very frosty. I think Bruno does have real potential but its a team on the major slide. Sadly could see them not even there in 2013 or purchased on the cheap by some pariah

F1 In terms of the copyright - I think its okay. The cars are different enough in their re-modelling and re-texturing to be regarded as different from the codemasters products. The problem occurs when you take something identical and pass it off as your own or distribute it in, ie music filesharing.

Grand Prix 4 Maybe they know Alguesari is in at HRT but they still have an option on him to replace Webber? Gives them an internal choice of four then.

No no no, Mister Fawlty...
Just seen again on Virgin - how do they get away with it - not just Germans but what about his reaction to the coloured doctor at the beginning of the episode? The episodes don't seem quite as funny now. Maybe its the passage of time.

F1 In the same way there have'nt at Mercedes since 2010. Is Rosberg any good or is MS a has been. TBH Kimi should do better against Grosjean than MS against Rosberg. Grosjean was clearly a good GP2 champ but surely not at Rosberg's level at the start of 2010 in F1. I think thats how I'd take a preliminary look at it anyway.

F1 How on earth would you think Alg would get a full Red Bull seat if let go by TR. Sorry that makes no sense. Maybe one of these new two, more likely Ricciardo but Red Bull may likely look for a bigger name.

F1 "The world is not black and white.
I don't hate Schumacher. In fact I was hoping for better results for him in both this and last season."
I'm in agreement there and still think he could do very well if the Mercedes is up to it. I do think he must have known what was going on in '94 but then if you were an ambitious racing driver barely 25 years old what would you d

F1 Its interesting the bit about Senna listening to the engine. Frank Williams said in the Senna film that Ayrton wanted the team to protest the Benetton but they never did.

F1 Thanks for the link - thats an interesting read. Chet - I think the ease with which the Benetton got going was a bit much to me particularly given the cars of the day and their likelihood to fishtail, lock wheels etc without LC/TC

F1 Have a look at around 3.30 into the video and the Aida 1994 start, looks like LC to me comparing the Benetton and the Williams starts.

F1 I have got there with the sarcasm - pretty obvious really - just the end of a long day for me. On another point about age, fast drivers etc saw that Schumacher beat Vettel in the quarter finals of the Race of Champions, in fact did best of all the F1 drivers competing. Still quite a fast fellow.

Grand Prix 4 I rarely have time to comment on the races but I disagree that it was boring. There was less artificial overtaking in the front, a good thing. I'm disappointed by the poor reaction here in this forum. Where are the top educated posters? A guy has just won a back to back title. Come on - say something.

Grand Prix 4 You don't really get it do you? If I have a new Rolling Stones track and I pass it around that is a breach of their copyright. Its really as simple as that. If someone wants to restrict where their material is downloaded from then thats fair enough, it should be respected. I'll make just one final point too. If material is available through one source, that source may benefit from eithe

Grand Prix 4 If the files were not released in a mod fair enough. I don't want to get into a big deal on this but passing stuff around by pm is not really okay, I can't see any difference between that and music filesharing. If the author has no issue and many do not then its not a problem. I think most people would agree that unless there is co-operation and respect for the wishes of authors then th

Grand Prix 4 There is a certain difference. The Codemasters conversions involve recreating something in a different format. You are correct - it is questionable. However copyright law for instance with written work means that if a piece is re-written it is different. What they are claiming you have done is to lift original work and "pass it off" as your own. That seems to be what the aggravation is

Grand Prix 4 Correct and it is the right of the producer to withdraw it, which is what has happened here. Passing around material by pm is I'm afraid theft, the music industry would not be so pissed off if it was'nt. As for Hasbriale - was that at Jorge? - if so pretty stupid - the guy does not have English as his first language and clearly some bad stuff has happened with Big Brother, at times sar

Grand Prix 4 Why is it a bad joke if someone wishes to protect their work? Whether paid for or not, it is their work. At the end of the day they don't have to share it. As I understand it here (and I caveat that), the problem is someones work is being passed on without credit or authorisation. Its pretty simple really.

Grand Prix 4 "Guys, life is so simple, was just speaking to him, asked permission, ready, there would be no problems."
I think this is pretty common sense really. I think people should be able to protect their work if they want to - in my work I use password protection to open and use files that are my copyright.
