You can blame Bernie for that, he decided to sell the license exclusively to one company.

He was probably getting sick of the poor quality titles released under the F1 banner. So instead of five half-baked F1 games, we've got just one now lol

To be fair, some of those glitches are apparently rare. I dont have the game, but have seen comments like "I have not come across most of these glitches".
It's a funny video though.

That video is sensational, hahahahahaha. I'd love to see the reaction from Codies people.

I did a qualifying lap at Valencia Circuit. Webber was little ahead to me. I pass him during the lap. I did 1'44, Webber 1'41 :(

@ Incident

I think it's just because I was looking forward to it so much.

Since I've bought it I've been playing CIV5 and Fallout 3 instead. I'm only up to Hungary on my season.

On a note unrelated to the quality of the game, WTF is that corner going into the stadium complex in Hockenheim? Agip/mobil 1? What a HORRIBLE corner. There is no way to judge where the hell you are until you're heading for the gravel. I hated it on GP4 too :P

Yes, how dare there be any challenging corners on F1 tracks these days! ;)

Oh, I love that corner. It's the opening few turns at China I hate.

Agreed! All circuits should be egg-shaped.

Yeah, I can never get it right through Turn 1 at China either

I can't get through China and Sepang. I go in and then bang I spin.

I really hate the 'Endurance' bit on Bahrain. I constantly overheat the engine just because of the many gearshifts.

China in the wet is properly difficult. The first corner requires so much skill in the dry, let alone with no grip whatsoever.

I have learnt to appreciate Sepang more than previously. Once you remember exactly where to put the car in some of the more vague corners it actually begins to flow rather well. Even China is not as hard as I remember it.

I seem to have beef with different specific corners rather than circuits (apart from Barcelona).

As previously mentioned, Mobil1 at Hockenheim, Turn 1 at Valencia (my mind treats this as St. Devote, and it just isn't - I've lost count of the amount of times I've gone down the inside of somebody, noticed that I'm just going to go wide and have to dive to the run-off on the left. It it were real-life I would have lost my super license by now - but I LOVE the circuit in general), the new bit at Barca (don't touch the curbs). Can't comment on anything beyond that because I'm only up to Hungary :)

Long weekends for me :)

I find Abu Dhabi quite challenging yet quite fun, and I quite enjoy the Korea track too. Let's hope the race there this weekend is awesome.

Just spent the evening playing online quick races, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I know that I'm definitely not the best racer out there but I won every race I entered apart from 3 or 4. The amount of messages I got and the amount of abuse I got hurled at me for 'being a cheater', 'f**k you cheater hacker!', 'play properly you f**king cheating' etc was just ridiculous. My rep is now mostly negative because of it, lol, even though I go out of my way to make sure I give everyone a fair race. The only reason I didn't win is either when I got rammed by an idiot at the start or (twice) by this one guy who kept on hurling abuse at me for cheating and deliberately punted me off when I overtook him. I never got beaten on pace alone and I wonder if that can be right? As I said, I'm definitely not the best out there lol.

Another thing as well, I had a lot of people saying my times were stupidly fast, by like 20 seconds or so. Aftert they told me this I noticed other people would frequently post times much faster than they'd actually gone on track. More bugs, I presume?

Yes, the timing system in general is abysmal. Lap 1 times are generally completely false - to the tune of up to 30 seconds.

@Fincent

I have the same problem, not with the times but with some people. If I crash into someone, I get all British about it and send an apologetic note. Some people will race fairly, and I'm one of those people. But some people just go out of their way to crash into people. I once got into an argument with some guy because he literally took everyone off. I had the same problem with people like that on GRID, and I would have won many more races if I hadn't been totalled in a first corner pileup or pushed in the gravel.
