Its really strange. I never had any problems before patch and after patch at first it didn't run properly but after reboot everything run better then before. So far never had any problem with Games for windows or social club. Textures are all there, never saw them missing. So far only problem with this game I had was the day the patch was released. The problem was I couldn't download it through GFW for some time.

Well got it back out again 2 months later, its better now, load times seem to be shorter and got it upto 45-50 FPS in the day and 35-40 at night, also got plenty more graphics options to play about with now! Still no AA though :( and they've decided to corrupt my old saved games with the new patch too so have to start again :@

On the 360 it's epic. On the PC...not so much.

I for me the 2 versions (ps3 and xbox360) are equal: ps3 version had free

online, and xbox 360 have a patch (addtitional content) but if we don't speak

about that, for me the two games are EXACTLY the same

It's PhD time !

I'm liking the PC version now, had the 360 but gave up as i knew the PC version was coming out.

It looks better, so many minute details make the world come alive

Takes ages to load though, i mean ages, and i'm running it off a 300gb VelociRaptor!

Having played GTAIV on both PS3 and 360 there is very little difference between the two, PS3 loads slightly quicker, controls are slightly better on the 360 and it has download content as well. PS3 version very slightly looks better (to me) 360 has better framerate. Basically if you do get it get it for whichever console you prefer.

LOL! Just realised this "The Lost And Damned" is fretty @#$%& damned.. 15€(or what ever) for downloadable addon. For that price I expect to get something real and solid instead of just some data wasting space..

I might have been living with my head in a box, but anyway.. Worst GTA-Addon Ever!

I'm sure it'll probably end up been released with another version of GTA4, bit like the Burnout Paradise Pack which has just been released.

No idea how good TLAD is yet, got it downloading but bit busy to play atm :(

Well I picked up GTA IV for PC from Morrisons for a tenner. I figured why not, should be a pretty good benchmark for my new PC.

I just hope that, graphically at least, it outperforms my 360 version. I'm kinda preparing myself for dissapointment though :P

Your lucky it will only have cost you a tenner when it run's like crap on your PC.

I wasted £25 on the pile of crap.

Anybody notised on the package some text about 64bit system beeing recommended for running the game? Does it really make so big difference?

Havent bought this game yet, because I have high doubts about this game working even bit smoothly on my pc.. ASUS PK5 / 2x Kingston 1gb DDR2-800 / CORE 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz / Club 3D GeForce 8800GTS 320MB / Windows Vista Home Premium (32bit).
