How come the FIA GT World Championship can't be downloaded on rfactor central?

Because that, and RFX, are conversions of GTR2. While it is not illegal, it is not original material, and there are some that consider it to be morally suspect too.

It's only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything.

What on earth happened to rtracker.org? Theres no seeds on the files any more, and each file i click on gives me a sql error, and the forum is full of dirty spam pr0n links.

rTracker died due to lack of time and funding. However a new tracker has been setup.

If theres something you need and it isnt on there, request it. I'm a mod on it and will do my best to get it up.

It looks like the PCC mod is FPS heavy tho.

I may give it a try, if so, I guess its a shame because every other decent mod have been extremely good on FPS.

Physics for PCC arent any good tbh.

Nurburgring however is stunning.

To be honest, PCC physics are good imho. I've driven these without TC (the only aid I have, bar Auto Clutch) and its... its... erm... H A R D.

Tested at Paul Ricard 88...

The car oversteers a LOT in the corners, I am never able to plant full throttle apart from the straights. NO-TC is annoying tho :P

I dont want to sound rude, but its hardly an opinion which governs the realistic physics. The suspension is wrong, the steering is wrong and there are Porsche GT drivers saying it isnt realistic on many forums. So you can have an opinion its realistic, but it *really* isnt lol.

Well, I didnt said that they were realistic, I just posted that they were quite easy to drive without TC.

Neither of these two mods are worth getting unless you have a decentish computer.

I haven't seen any performance complaints from the Nurburgring 2007 track yet. The Nordschleife has excellent FPS, whilst the GP circuit is a bit lower.

The PCC 2007 mod has horrible FPS. I've uninstalled the mod now. Drivers bad and runs bad.

Ahh opposite for me, the GP circ I can run at about 60fps, then with the nord i run at about 20-30 :(

but thing is, i am dx7, and so I dont get car textures ;)

my computer is amazingly old, and it does need a huge upgrade but i cant afford one atm, and prob wont be able to until after uni ;)
