I suppose you could say because its called a 'minimod', it can just be used to have the car liverys until a proper mod is released.

So in real life the cars have crappy painted on lights too? :O (at least that's what the photo looks like) I thought it was just that most nascar (cos you don't really get dirt car games) were with crap car models and for some reason they couldn't be bothered to do proper lights, so just painted them on :S

Yeah, in Nascar all headlights are just stickers. And it seems thet dirtmodels have also stickers instead of proper headlights.

If you want to clean up the glass on an oval after a 20 car pile up, on you go. Esepcailyl with NASCARs super soft tyres. You'd be unbder caution for 50 laps after a single car accident cleaning up the glass.

Yer but my point is if they have no lights, why bother pretending that they do, it just looks silly and spasticated.

I remember that episode of the Simpsons where Homer designed a car for his brothers car company, did'nt realise they were putting it into production

uhhh, common sense here, but why do you think Vauxhall enter an Astra into the BTCC? Because its brand marketing. These companies can afford to go out and build specialised cars for the series, but that doesnt make them money. you stick a brand name on the car and when the car wins it looks great. Especailly in America where the attitude is very much Win Sunday, Sell Monday. People see a Chevy Monte Carlo winning in NASCAR, then they buy that instead of the Ford Focus. Stupid, but its true.

A car can be branded without having tacky stick on lights.
