Its pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Dont try to download the original .exe setup file for installation, there is a newer download that just has the gp2edit.exe and folder that will run on windows 10

Sorry for the late reply. I was trying to add a new engine sound I picked up from somewhere.
use the button on the ribbon that looks like a boom box/speaker. Normally sounds 00 ad 01 are the engine notes. I use the ones from the 91 mod mostly as there are different sounds for different engine configs. Point a gp2edit config towards the 91 and just import them after selecting which one you like.
hmm, did you point the gp2edit back to the install that you wanted to export to once you imported it from the 91 mod?
another one, did you export from the sound editor menu or from the main export button on the ribbon, sometimes the main button does not have the sound option checked.
You are doing nothing wrong. Custom cockpits are not working for now. The cockpit we see in x86GP2 is an overlay of the game one, not the real game one. I think some cockpits might kind of work, or part of them, but they would look weird because of that.
Hatcher said that was on his TO-DO list. Let's hope he can pull it out.
Hi! thank you for your kind reply, that's a relief as I thought I did break something with the game.. I managed to have "credible" cockpits by changing the teams order via GP2Edit. Let's wait for the next update then!
Cheers
