So I have been trying to install Grand Prix 2 on my system but each time when I get to run the installer it says:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem: "This system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'close' to terminate the application."

I have tried a few things (setting the PC to minimum resolution, compitability mode, etc), but no good.
Any help is welcome.

Are you using DOSBox?

you can try d-fend reloaded. It's a great multilingual tool for old dos box games like Doom, Hexen, GP2 a.s.o.

I already tried few days ago. Did everything according to the tutorial. Works fine but the sound won't work (even with autodetection).

you can always jump on [grandprix2.de] and they might be able to help you out. There is also a lot of guides on how to get gp2 going.
I know it can be painful but stick it out, i play gp2 more now than gp4!
