GP2 wont load

I put the disk in and the title comes up in 'My computer' but it wont read.

The drive is a DVD rewright and the pc is running XP home 2002 service pack 3

Any help greatfully recived

Try testing it in another computer, if it can be read, copy the data.

You have two options left:

1. You can try to recover your disc by using "CD Recovery Toolbox Free". That program helped me to recover files from a damaged CD and it worked in my case.
2. If your disc is badly scratched, try SkipDr or similar.

Natively, it is very difficult to get GP2 to run stable under Win XP. On a slow computer, it should work fine with VDMS, but otherwise DOSBox is preferred. There is also a tool called "VelocidadeXP-1" for GP2, but I have no experience of if it can help GP2 running stable under native Win XP.
