GP4 kehrt zum Desktop zurück

Ich weiß das Problem an sich ist kein neues und gab es hier sicherlich auch schon im Forum aber ich habe folgendes Problem:

Ich versuche GP4 auf einen neueren Rechner unter Win XP aufzuspielen. Bis ins Hauptmenü kommt man noch aber wenn man den Grafik-Test in Imola machen möchte kehrt das Spiel während des Ladevorgangs zum Desktop zurück.

Der Rechner hat ein Dualcore Prozessor drin und als Grafikkarte eine Nvidia Geforce 9600GT, die von GP4 erkannt wird. Wo liegt hier das Problem???

Hat keiner ne Erklärung, warum das Spiel nicht auf solch einem modernen Rechner laufen kann? Installiert ist Windows XP.

Laß den Grafiktest erstmal sein, bei GPxPatch CPU "alle" einstellen und
im Debugmodus starten, ansonsten empfehle ich Dir das Racing-Board,
da findest Du Lösungen für Probleme rund um GP4.

wenn man über gpx patch startet geht der grafiktest nicht, den ersten gp4 start sollte man mit ner sauberen installation machen

Genau dies habe ich auch gemacht, bzw. mache ich immer. Das seltsame ist, dass das Spiel auf diesem Rechner bei jeder Strecke, etwa bei der Hälfte des Ladevorgangs zum Desktop zurück kehrt und das wundert mich.

Ich komme ins GP4 Hauptmenü ohne Probleme, aber Rennen fahren kann ich nicht...

Nö, einfach nur installiert auf dem Rechner und wollte es erst mal austesten.
Und erst wenn das Spiel diesen Prozess bestanden hätte, wollte ich meine Mod's installieren...

deaktivier ma den Ladebalken im GPX und versuchs nochma, dann könnte es gehn...

Ich hab übrigens auch das Prob das mein GP4 abschmiert, allerdings lädt er bei mir die Strecke, ich bin in der Box und wenn ich dann auf die Strecke geh, stürtzt GP4 dann irgendwann innerhalb der 1. Runde ab, immer an unterschiedlichen stellen...

Ich hab den Verdacht dasses an der GraKa liegt, is ne Onboard weil der PC is eigentlich gut genug...

Edit #2: an der GraKa lags wohl doch net, ich hab mir auf die schnelle ma ne GeForce 8600GT mit 1GB Ram geholt und es stürtzt immernoch ab, habs sowohl mit dem Originalen GP4 probiert, als auch mit CSM und der 94er Mod... bin da ehrlich gesagt etwas Planlos^^

Mein Problem hat sich gelöst, lag nur an der Grafischen Bildschirm Einstellung.
800 x 600 Pixel wird wohl schlecht gehen auf einem 42" Fernseher xD

Daher musste ich auf mindestens 1250 x 860 oder wie das heißt gehen, dann gehts.

Schockt sich richtig, sieht ja eh nicht mehr viel anders aus als wie bei RTL:)

Falls jemand ein motherboard mit Via-Chipset hat, sollte er sich aktuelle Treiber und Board updates (via 4in1 hieß das mal vor Jahren) holen, sonts stürzt GP4 ab.
