Yes, and I realize that. But obviously a typical "hat" here (And I would assume across the pond also) is much more of a baseball type of cap if you will. Whereas your mexican style stereotypical hat is one GIANT monstrosity. A sombrero and a ballcap don't fit into the same class of headwear. While yes both are hats, they vary enough to warrant a distinction.

Both photos were shot with Sheepy doing the modelling. I must say he does look quite smashing in the typical hat and straight up suspicious (In an obvious way) in the sombrero.
