wow, I'd completely forgotten about things like AlphaF1. I used to go on the chat there back in 2000 I think, and I used it to recruit drivers for my online GP3 league.
Can't remember how I got onto here but I think it took me a while before I registered

alternative solution (which is what i'm relying on seeing as i'm kinda sorta engaged) is find a girl who's got a lot more money than you, and then it means that any tiny gesture is always appreciated, cos she knows how skint i am... something like that

LOL! Mr Dick Scott thats how I joined Hawkeye, through AlphaF1 when I got the old 2000 Season GP3 Carset! Kia Corius, Synergy, Lucozade, The Connolly Brothers, Eddie Stobart, KitKat, Inferno Ferrari, Yuri and Nils, CVRT.... the first few seasons, crikey I remember a lot of it!
Remember when I got banned because I messed my game settings and discovered GP3 Engine Tools and made my car have like 1500 BHP LOL! I remember submitting my lap for Spa or something and being 35 seconds quicker than the next hahahaah!
