Had a Ford Fiesta Ghia for 3 year,

@Gui: erm... that driving job was driving me grandparents shopping, basicly a driving lesson, but not been at it for well over a year since i got pulled by police driving me mates car, but me nan died in november, and well me grandad wasnt very moveable in an out of hospital, he booked me driving test on 25/07/2009 for todays date, and on the 29/07/2009 2 days before me 20th he passed away, after battling cancer for over a year with no treatment, so he was my motevation for passing.

Edit: anyone know of cheap insureance company the cheapest ive seen coz of me 6 points was £4,500

sheepy u dipstick!

ur not gonna afford insurance for a while. ur best bet is biting ur ass and waiting til ur over 21.

im with admiral and its the best ive found, was with tesco first time, then qwik fitt and now admiral for two years. going to renew admiral for a third, and on the accelerator policy i get one years no claims every 2 months, fast tracked. over 6 years ill have an extra full year of no claims. well worth it for the discount and soon-ness of having no claims points.

seriously, you wont be insured for a while mate. i waited 2 years after i passed for insurance to go down.

mine was 580 last year (and i had a hit n run incident with a foreigner a month after driving). no points, and i expect it to drop more this year.

tried going on your mums?

How much is 6 points? How many can you get?

For speeding you can recieve a fine and 3 points on your license.

In your first two years of driving well2 years after passing (or before in Sheepys case ;)) if you receive only 3 points but if you get 6 or more than its an instant ban and your required to retake your test, or in sheepys case take your test :p

If your caught doing 100mph in any zone then its an instant court appearence and is judged whether its bannable or not. ie Brawn!

I think thats it anyway!

Not wanting to invade the thread, just last night I was driving my mother to the airport in a new Mercedes c-klass, it was a hirecar. One of those new cars where you sometimes dont realize how quick you are going!

I was driving along the A1(M) and noticed a flash in the mirror. It wasnt a camera flash. It was a unmarked car and the blue and red flash of their lights! I looked at the clock and saw 100mph and instantly almost shat myself thinking what an idiot! Ive already got 3 points and so this would ban me, even without them it could have! I slowed to 70-75 and he stuck behind me for 5 miles or so then sped off. It was extremley lucky he didnt stop me!!! But it was an empty road (supprisingly) and it looked like all he wanted to do was just slow me down to a good speed. Scary moment, and very stupid of me!
