I was there on the Friday as well and from the look of the pic i was pratically in the same place as LS but i was on the top tier :(. Still it was by far the best gig I've seen :). Also did anyone else who was there on the Friday think that The Big Pink and Professor Green were rubbish?

I was on the row 12,block 223

Big Pink supported Muse when i saw them at the opening night the Resistance UK tour in Sheffield in November last year and they were that good ( never heard of them til then) that i bought their album ( which is really really good to imho) but even i thought they didnt sound as good as when i saw them at Sheffield.

I think it was perhaps not their best performance and the sound setup wasnt quite right either, drums were too loud and you couldnt hear alot of the synth playing, which is a bad thing when your main music is synth related

I thought Prof Green spoiled Lily Allens set, she didnt need to bring him on. she shouldve just stuck to her own stuff

Wow you were all the way up there. I was standing on the left hand side slightly in the middle. Loved last night.

You should've seen one of Matt's old guitars. Everytime he strummed it in shot out lasers. I loved the acrobat bit it just came out of nowhere and everyone's eyes were on that rather than the guys singing. At first it just looked like a plastic white thing that was underneath it and then the person just popped out. I was just :O

This was Saturday's set list

1. Uprising
2. Supermassive Black Hole
3. MK Ultra + Township Rebellion riff
4. Map of the Problematique + Who Knows Who riff
5. Bliss
6. Guiding Light
7. Interlude
8. Hysteria + Back in Black riff
9. Citizen Erased
10. Nishe
11. United States Of Eurasia
12. Ruled by Secrecy (It's a rarity to see this played live these days)
13. Feeling Good (
14. MK Jam
15. Undisclosed Desires
16. Resistance
17. Starlight
18. Time Is Running Out + House of the Rising Sun intro + Voodoo Child riff + Jimmy Jam
19. Unnatural Selection
20. Exogenesis: Symphony, Part 1: Overture
21. Stockholm Syndrome + War within a Breath riff + Ashamed Riff
22. Take A Bow + Forced In
23. Plug In Baby
24. Man With a Harmonica + Knights of Cydonia

It was just shocking to see some people leaving at Take a bow. I was just horrified as to why they would leave when two epic songs were coming up

yeah... think saturdays is definitely the better list (of the trakcs that were different) New born is becoming overplayed really, butterflies, i can take it or leave it, and Neutron star is just hideous... still can't bring myself to believe it's Muse

+1

so annoyed we had to listen to Neutron star collision whereas you lot got Bliss and Citizen Erased, although Butterflies and hurricanes is just epic ;).

Wow, sounds like the stage show topped the Stadium gig in '07 - all we had then was gymnasts suspended from balloons ;)

Biffy Clyro were the opening support there. Sounded like they might have been good, but the levels were awful.

I'm quite surprised that they played nothing from Showbiz - I guess they're a bit tired of that material now, but some of it made for good live stuff.

They're going to release probably a DVD encompassing clips from every gig they did on the resistance tour. Should be a good one :D. When Bliss came on everyone started screaming and going nuts :D

I hope so, because on the Resistance Tour ( not the current Stadium Tour) they had those awesome movable elevating columns that projected videos on them, would be a shame to not see them again, it was amazing when the curtains dropped at the start of Uprising :)

Lol, I know I'd go nuts if anything from OoS came on!

Also good news about the DVD.

I loved those esp. the "We are the universe" bit. Sends a chill down my spine everytime you can hear a little of Uprising in it. Oh and they also did the extended outro for Uprising. Cue the bigass jumping around and head banging!

Sorry Gui :(. They probably might put it on this time. It was the highest voted song to be played on their website.
