Because your father has good taste in music. Nothing great came after "Peace Sells ... But Who Is Buying."

So why my dad let me go to see Metallica, and didnt let me to see Roger Waters playing the entire Dark Side of The Moon, neither Ozzy Osbourne, Dream Theather and Deep Purple? (well, at least he paid me a ticket to seeing Kiss :))

Because obviously your Dad's got the same kind of sick humor that I have.

Tell him your mom might be interested in the pictures of him with the housemaid you took last summer.

Eventually you'll die anyway. So why waste the chance to make it count?

Rust In Peace is good?

Rust In Peace is good?

Compared to what came after it yes. Compared to what came before it somehow lacked any kind of novelty. Not that Dave Mustaine has ever been the epitome of originality. I remember an interview back in 1991 where he slagged off Axl Rose and said his voice sounded like a poodle with a cold. I wondered then if Dave had ever heard his own voice.

I wouldn't call it singing, but yeah.

What is your favourite thrash metal album?

That's easy to answer. Slayer's 1986 release "Reign In Blood". It even topped its already excellent predecessor "Hell Awaits". In terms of trash no other album was that brutal at the time of its release and I still love it after all these decades.

I also loved Testament's debut "The Legacy" (1987) and the early Exodus stuff. However in the late 80s I already was more into NY Hardcore.

I've never been a big Alice Cooper Fan, but Brutal Planet definitely was a strong album. Pick up The Bones is one of my favorite tracks from it.
