Wow, it looks so much better in colour. The pencil drawing looked pretty dull and lifeless but you've nailed it with the colours there.

Anyways, trying to move on from that.... Well, not likely till he posts again, but.....

Basically done with this one. I may go add some highlights in photoshop, but I dunno. I plan on keeping it vector to blow it up to a bajillion times this size and put it on the wall ;)

Thats nice mate.
What do you think?

And thanks again for nice words because my friends were like: " Nah its ok, its nice..." and stuff like that and I was close to never do something like that again cuz it doesnt motivate when you hear something like that and you know how much effort and time you put on it. But you guys are great and I thank you for that.

Amazing! Just stunning. Well done.

Also I love Smorr's Radical, nice 'cartoony' style.

WebboFan, Are they big into racing? Perhaps they could really care less about cars and motorcycles. Art is subjective, and if your audience isn't interested to begin with chances are you wont convince them. Picasso is good for some, but honestly I think it looks like something I did when I was 5.

Keep up the good work, it looks really good, I'd say the blue is a touch oversaturated, but if you use that throughout it'll work. Consistency is key.

Thanks. Well, yeah, youre probably right. I like drawing motorcycles and racing stuff in general. I ll try to do something else, for example roses and then Ill see what the reactions are :).

WebberFan, those bike drawings are just mindblowing! I've seen actual photos of bikes that looked less realistic! Congrats and respect dude.

Another option you could use is a type of fade I guess you'd call it. As in don't fully color the whole bike, but bring out the colors up front and gradually fade them out towards the back, leaving only the pencil drawing there.

Disagree, I think if you paint the whole thing it will have this pretty glossy look that will overshadow any small imprecise drawing you have, like the foot. It really brings it to life this coloring, congratulations!

No, gloss will only magnify the issue ;) Shiny stuff attracts the eye. I'd just try it, you may or may not like the results.

Anyways, I'm done. Finished. Finito. Over.

Man I love doing that type of illustration. Simple, effective, and very fun, not to mention it looks awesome.

Nice work Smorr, what program did you use for it?

Webber Fan: Lovely sketches, good idea to colour it in on Photoshop!
