Nice drawings there!

I bought a book the other day called 'How to Draw Everything', had a quick skim through and it doesnt seem to have F1 cars (quite a few other objects missing too...begining to think they've exaggerated the title a bit).

For f1 cars I prefer using a photo and making it grayscale, easier to see the light and dark bits :P

Thx, but also I cannot draw those.. ;)

I used picture of some pretty generic looking "modelcar" like that as reference and only modified it to look like RBR car and nearly failed even in that (nose, f-wing,..). This is also reason for missing front wheel, but I agree with Peat that it should be there to look 'right'. :P

Man you have some SERIOUS skills.

I can't draw, but I still try ;) Sketched out a car and popped that into Illustrator and do some work on it (Its easier and cleaner than erasing to move a handle!). I'm interested to know what you guys think about these two.

Next comes actual wheels, then coloring. And the roll hoop bars. Both are subject to change, as I quite like how that looks like that, cept the roll bar thing needs changed.

Something else I did, planning on doing the same to the Radical look a like.

Based off of a photo, but wasnt done the cheap way. All redone with the pen tool going crazy. 1970 AAR Cuda, a dream car of mine.

Its first time I used Photoshop paint something it but Im extremely satisfied with the result :) Hope you guys like it. I think ill stick with this style cuz its great. It demands a lot of time, but result is great.
