I think this is my first entry into this thread, so I hope these are of decent enough quality, despite being taken with a fairly basic Sony Cybershot camera.
Anyway, here are some of my favourite, best or notable photos from my recent trip to Europe.
Big crowds on a Saturday morning for Changing of the Guard ceremony
A lot of the streets were closed for a gay pride parade, so it was a good opportunity to take some photos.
View from the London Eye. Not really worth the money or queue.
Probably my favourite photo of the holiday. I was really lucky that the bus came into the photo, it wasn't planned.
View from St. Paul's
Australian war memorial and French countryside of Villers-Bretonneux
FIFA Fan Fest as seen from the Eiffel Tower
View from my apartment
View from the Arc de Triomphe
View of Champs-Elysees and Paris from Arc de Triomphe
Renault dealership on Champs-Elysees. I watched the British GP here as the TV was not working in the room.
Traffic on the Champs-Elysees
Castel Sant'Angelo
View of Naples. Amusingly, most drivers took the apex of the corner instead of worrying about lanes
Pompeii streetscape
View of extents of Pompeii
Nice view of Colosseum and typical traffic jam
View from Spanish Steps
