Yep! :D I am so pleased!

I am a little gutted it doesn't have the original box though, but I have been assured it is in immaculate condition.

I won't be reselling hopefully until I am old, so the box thing to me isn't so much an issue.

I'll be getting a replacement minichamps 1:18 case and sleeve, and make my own insert art to fit the custom 'First Win' theme I hope to have.

When I have all the models I want, with all matching styles of inserts and whatnot, I think it'll look like a great little collection!

I love that Ferrari, the Onyx and Mattel Elite versions are attrocious, the Minichamps, especially the 1:18 is a real beaut. I'm on the prowl for a 1:43 version at some stage.

Some more Jordans ;)

Picked up the Ferrari this morning - looks awesome! Obviously with the age of the model, the lack of box, and the fact it has been stored in a loft means one or two of the decals are a little scuffed. Nothing I can't fix very easily though!

I paid £30 cash for it. I think thats a reasonable price!?

The guy I got it from also told me he has a boxed Irvine 1996 1:18 Ferrari 310 high nose up there. If I wanted it, it was mine. More or less the same money, and would ring me when he found it.

Amazing!

This is the other car I could be getting...

Well spotted! I had to zoom in to clarify that. IMO the 412T2 was the last time Ferrari built a beautiful f1 car.

Thanks Dan! I was leaning towards Irvine but I couldn't find an occasion for his helmet being that color. We'll see how that goes for me :P.

Edit: and the price skyrocketed to $50 (with shipping) with still 4 days left to go. I'm now only hopeful of landing a Fisichella Benetton.

What's the going rate in the uk for 1/43 minichamps? My local shop sells them at between $70-$90aud.
Bit steep fora small model I think! Always see how cheap they are on eBay... Think we are getting ripped off over here!

2013 - Nando must come through..

They're genarally overpriced anyway wherever they are sold.

If you're lucky you can find listings on eBay with low starting bids and no reserves.

And I landed the Fisichella B199 Benetton for $25 including shipping. Model has accumulated dust but I'll be ready with my cotton buds and alcohol! Now waiting on more auctions to come to a close in the next few days.

I don't normally buy new models, but imported this one from Germany to add to my World Champions Collection. This one cost me just over £35, which I don't think is bad for a new model with the current World Champ in. I have all of them going back to 1994, but missing Ferraris from 2004 and 2007.

I keep meaning to cut down my collection, but I also added a Jordan EJ12 and EJ13 over the weekend

I just realised I'm overdrawn, I'd better stop this fixation on buying models.

Well my Minichamps 1:18 FW19 bargain turned out to be a rather crappy onyx fail. But for under £4 what do you expect? :P
