Where do you get your decals Dave? eBay? I have a whole fleet of 1:18 scale 90s McLarens that desperately need Marlboro liveries.

I actually looked at that. If it was a 2008 I'd be all over it. Unfortunately I already have a 2007 Alonso.

Oh yeah, pic:

Some of the collection. Not in the photo is the '94 Brundle, or the '99 Hakkinen.

Anyone know where I can get a Minichamps 1:18 '05 Raikkonen? Seems to be rare, if not downright impossible. Worst comes to worst I'll have to get a Montoya.

Ah sorry, Mat! I had a 2008 as well but that's already sold. I do have a 2005 Raikkonen 1:18 (minichamps) but I wouldn't let that go easilly! But for the right price, maybe! ;-)

Hey guys

Does anyone have any tips on fixing peeling decals on Minichamps models?

I've just bought a 1/43 BAR 01, and there is some lift on the tiny Bridgestone decal on the cars left sidepod

Any help would be appreciated

Also if anyone is looking to sell a 1/43 Pedro de la Rosa Arrows 1999, let me know

Cheers

I'm waiting for delivery of a Minichamps 1:18 BMW Williams FW22 "launch car" which I won on eBay for £18 +£5.95 postage, buying any decent model from a shop is so expensive these days so I always try to seek a bargain on eBay.

Edit: it has arrived and tis sweeeeet. I might have to convert it to #10 for Button though, it's a bit too Ralf Schumachery at the moment.

Damn!

I wish I had seen that - I have a few of those early BMW Williams dealer edition models. I won that same one above a few years ago for £20 delivered, but they sent me the standard Jenson in the BMW sleeve. I was gutted. But £25 was still a bargain, but for the hassle of sending it back I just kept it.

Man, if you wanted a specific Jenson FW22 I would absolutely LOVE to trade you my actual BMW dealer Jenson for that standard FW22, since I have two. Let me know one day if you change your mind!

Here it is (from an old gpg post)

In other news...

I just today got what I thought was too good to be true... and correct me if I am wrong, as I think this is a RARE model!?

1:18 Minichamps - Mercedes Team Edition - Grey Carbon Box - Hakkinen - 1997 MP4/12 for £42 delivered.

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Very nice mate, yeah I'm pretty sure the black star car is rare

I picked up 2 cars today, both 1/43

2001 Buemi STR4, and 1990 Capelli Leyton House March, both Minichamps

Bought them for £9.99 each from Modelzone, they've got a big sale on, was tempted to go for a Kubica 1st win too

Thanks for the other, but I'll keep mine as I prefer it in the early launch livery, looks much cleaner with completely white engine cover and no Compaq decals.

I'm sure if I really wanted to that I could remove the Ralf decals and replace them with Button ones but it's not a major worry although embarrassingly that's now 2 Ralf Schumacher models I have ;-(

I also need to branch out from Williams because most of my stuff is Williams although I do have a Mclaren Mp4/8 which I love.

There's so many various models I'd like to buy, but they're so prohibitably expensive from shops and dealers that I tend to only look for the rare bargain on eBay.

Hey damn.

There a "few" more of the 2000 BMW Williams FW21 launch cars (the one I bought) on eBay, I've seen one 1:18 scale but they're asking £75 for it, but there's also a couple of the same in 1:43.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Wondering if anyone received or treated themselves to any models or cool stuff over Christmas

I received a 1/2 scale Vettel helmet which is awesome :) and a B197 1/18 Alesi which I've wanted for years
