If it has the HP logo then it must be HP (sure not a Dell!)
Branded PCs seldom can be overclocked.
They do so to prevent people turning to assistance and support after weird experiments :)
Happens the same for Intel branded mobos, there is n way to OC them, no jumpers, no bios settings no nothing.

but not everything works with it - in compatiblity mode u can select win2000 - so obviously there is some differences

ellis when the blue hp screen comes up press F1 when the numlock key is turned on, if you press it wen its off then the pc crahses (one of my pcs is the same). BTW, is it a HP Pavilion?
